IRT UV SmartCure by Hedson

SmartCure is a product for curing filler and primer in body and paint shops. With new technology and new design, it sets a new industry standard. The use of new LED technology for UV light enables a handheld, battery-powered product that revolutionizes the work of the users.

The aim of the design work was to give the product a unique design that corresponds to its technical height and which clearly distinguishes it from existing products on the market. With insights about market segments and competitors, we were able to create a product that strengthens the company's market position and value proposition.

By focusing on the needs of the workshops and the challenges of the users, we were able to make an intuitive and ergonomic product that makes a difference for the user in the daily work. A unique design approach was created by using the new LED light scattering angle and the shape of the light projection to create the basic shape of the product.
